Frail

Sometimes the mundane and the intimate intertwine. These uncertain, fleeting moments trigger an awareness of the fragility of things. Driven by an ongoing curiosity, I question, observe and objectify these in-between situations to the point where they become sculptural. Moving between reality and fiction, by subtle staging, the familiar is transformed in the ambiguous. Someone’s body tells an untold story. Body shapes and gestures translate a paradox between longing for closeness and isolation.
